2.    Definitions
In the following, we would like to inform you about the processing of your personal data when you visit our website and use our content and services.
“personal data” in the sense of the GDPR means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (“data subject”); an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier (such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person).
“processing” means any operation or set of operations which is performed on personal data or on sets of personal data, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording, organisation, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction.
With regard to the other used data privacy terms, we refer to the definitions in Art. 4 GDPR.

3.    Scope of the processing of personal data
In order to use our website, it is generally not necessary for you to provide data. In certain cases, however, we need your name and address and other information so that we can provide the desired services.
The same applies, for example, to the sending of information material and ordered goods or to the answering of individual questions. Where necessary, we will notify you accordingly. In addition, we only process data that you voluntarily provide to us and, if applicable, data that we automatically collect when you visit our website (e.g. IP address and the names of the pages you have accessed, the browser and operating system you are using, date and time of access, search engines used, names of downloaded files).
If you make use of our services, in general only data that we need to provide the services are collected. As far as we ask you for further data, the information is voluntary.

4.    Purposes for the processing of personal data
We will process the data you provide in accordance with the principles of data economy and purpose limitation. The principle of purpose limitation states that data shall be collected for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes and not further processed in a manner that is incompatible with those purposes. Further processing for archiving purposes in the public interest, scientific or historical research purposes or statistical purposes is not considered to be incompatible with the initial purposes.
We only process your data to answer inquiries, handle your orders and provide access to certain information or offers to you. Maintaining customer relationships may also require us or a commissioned service provider to use this data to inform you about product offers or to conduct online surveys to fulfill the tasks and requirements set by our customers.
We will only process the data you provide online for the stated purposes. Your data will not be transferred to third parties without your express consent.

5.    Disclosure of data to third parties
Your data will only be transmitted to third parties in exceptional cases,
•    to external service providers working for us (processors) if this is necessary for the purpose of executing the contract,
•    to companies affiliated with us, insofar as this is necessary to fulfill the contractual obligations,
•    to state institutions and authorities if we are legally obliged to do so or
•    if you consent to this.

We conclude the relevant processing agreements with the processor based on Article 28 of the GDPR. The service companies commissioned by us are obliged by us to maintain confidentiality and to comply with the provisions of the GDPR and the BDSG. The transmitted data may only be used by our service providers to fulfill their task. Any other use of the information is not permitted and is not carried out by any of the service providers we entrust with.
A transmission and further processing of data to state institutions and authorities entitled to receive information only takes place within the framework of the relevant laws or if we are obliged to do so by a judicial decision.
In addition, we do not pass on any data to third parties unless you have given us your express consent.
Of course, we respect it if you do not want to give us your data to support our customer relationship (especially for direct marketing or for market research purposes). We will neither sell your data to third parties nor market it in any other way unless you have given us your consent.

6.    Transfers of personal data to a third country
Insofar as it comes to the disclosure or transmission of data to third parties in a third country, i.e. outside the European Union (EU) or the European Economic Area (EEA), and data is further processed as part of the use of third-party services, this is only done based on your consent, a legal obligation, our legitimate interests or if it is necessary to fulfill our (pre) contractual obligations. Subject to legal or contractual permissions, we process or have the data processed in a third country only if the special requirements of Article 44 and the following GDPR are met. This means that the processing takes place, for example, on the basis of special guarantees, such as the officially recognized determination of a data protection level corresponding to the EU or compliance with officially recognized special contractual obligations (so-called "EU standard contractual clauses ").

7.    Legal basis for the processing of personal data
Insofar as we obtain your consent for the processing of personal data, the consent according to point (a) of Article 6(1) of the GDPR is the legal basis for the processing of your data.
When processing personal data that is necessary to fulfill the requested service, we rely on point (b) of Article 6(1) of the GDPR serves as the legal basis.
Insofar as processing of personal data is necessary to fulfill a legal obligation to which our company is subject, point (c) of Article 6(1) of the GDPR serves as the legal basis.
If processing is necessary to safeguard a legitimate interest of our company or a third party and the interests, fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject do not outweigh the first-mentioned interest, point (f) of Article 6(1) of the GDPR is the legal basis for processing.

8.    Deletion of data and duration of storage
We only store your data until the purpose is fulfilled and there are no other legal retention requirements (e.g. commercial law or tax retention obligations).
If you have given us your consent, we will store your data until you revoke your consent, if there is no other legal basis for the processing of your data and is not contrary to legal retention periods of extinction.
In addition, in individual cases, e.g. for evidence purposes, longer storage for defense / enforcement of civil or public law claims may be appropriate.

9.    Data collected automatically when visiting our website

11.    Analysis and tracking tools

11.1    General
When you visit our website, your surfing behavior can be statistically evaluated. This is done primarily with cookies and with so-called analysis programs. Your surfing behavior is usually analyzed anonymously; the surfing behavior cannot be traced back to you. You can object to this analysis or prevent it by not using certain tools. See the following for more information.

11.2    Google Analytics
Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google LLC („Google“), 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA. Google Analytics uses so-called cookies, text files saved onto your computer that allow your use of the website to be analyzed.
The information on your website use generated by cookies is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA where it is saved. If IP-anonymisation is activated on our website, your IP address will partially be made unidentifiable by Google within a Member state of the European Union or in another state party to the European Economic Area Agreement (so-called IP masking).
Only in exceptions will your full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the US and be made unidentifiable there. On behalf of the operators of this website, Google will use this information to assess your use of this website, to compile reports about website activity and to perform additional services related to use of the website and the Internet for the website operators.
The IP address transmitted by your browser through Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. You can prevent cookie storage through your browser settings at any time. However, please note that you may not be able to use every function of this website. Furthermore, you can prevent the collection of cookie-generated data (including your IP address) on your use of the website and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in provided under the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.
As an alternative to the browser plugin and on browsers on mobile devices, you may also prevent data collection by Google Analytics by activating the following link which will install an opt-out cookie that will block any future collection of your data when visiting our website. Please note that this link must be activated again if you delete your cookies. Cookie Settings
In the event of the transmission of personal data to Google based in the USA, Google ensured this will only be done in the case that the prerequisites of Art. 44 et seq. of the GDPR have been fulfilled.
Data processing, in particular the setting of cookies, takes place with your consent on the basis of point (a) of Article 6(1) of the GDPR. You can revoke your consent at any time with future effect by clicking on Cookie Settings. Then an opt-out cookie will be set, which prevents the collection of your data on future visits to this website.
For Google's Data Privacy Statement, please see https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en. For the Google Terms of Service, please see https://policies.google.com/terms?hl=en (in German).

11.3    Google Ads
We use "Google Ads" on our website, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Google Building Gordon House, Barrow St, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google").
Google Ads enables us to draw attention to our attractive offers with the help of advertising material on external websites. This enables us to determine how successful individual advertising measures are. These advertising materials are delivered by Google via so-called "AdServer". For this purpose, we use so-called AdServer cookies, which can be used to measure certain parameters for measuring success, such as the display of ads or clicks by users. If you access our website via a Google ad, Google Ads stores a cookie on your PC.
These cookies usually lose their validity after 30 days. They should not be used to personally identify you. The following information is usually saved as analysis values for this cookie: unique cookie ID, number of ad impressions per placement (frequency), last impression (relevant for post-view conversions), opt-out information (marking that the Users no longer want to be addressed).
These cookies enable Google to recognize your web browser. If a user visits certain pages of the website of an Ads customer and the cookie stored on their computer has not yet expired, Google and the customer can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. A different cookie is assigned to each Ads customer. Cookies cannot therefore be tracked via the websites of Ads customers.
We ourselves do not collect and process any personal data in the advertising measures mentioned. We only receive statistical evaluations from Google. Based on these evaluations, we can see which of the advertising measures used are particularly effective. We do not receive any further data from the use of the advertising material, in particular we cannot identify the users based on this information. Due to the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection to the Google server.
We have no influence on the scope and further use of the data collected by Google through the use of Google Ads. To the best of our knowledge, Google receives the information that you have called up the corresponding part of our website or clicked on an advertisement from us.
If you have a Google user account and are registered, Google can assign the visit to your user account. Even if you are not registered with Google or have not logged in, there is a possibility that Google will find out and save your IP address.
We use Google Ads for marketing and optimization purposes, in particular to display relevant and interesting ads for you, to improve reports on campaign performance and to achieve a fair calculation of advertising costs.
Data processing, in particular the setting of cookies, takes place with your consent on the basis of point (a) of Article 6(1) of the GDPR. You can revoke your consent at any time with future effect by clicking on Cookie Settings. In this case, a so-called opt-out cookie is stored in your browser, which means that Google does not collect any session data.
In the event of the transmission of personal data to Google based in the USA, Google ensured this will only be done in the case that the prerequisites of Art. 44 et seq. of the GDPR have been fulfilled.
You can prevent the installation of cookies by deleting existing cookies and deactivating the storage of cookies in the settings of your web browser. We would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of our website to their full extent. The storage of cookies can also be prevented by setting your web browser so that cookies from the domain "www.googleadservices.com" are blocked (https://www.google.de/settings/ads). We would like to point out that this setting will be deleted if you delete your cookies. You can also deactivate interest-based ads using the link http://optout.aboutads.info. We would like to point out that this setting will also be deleted if you delete your cookies.
Further information on the use of data by Google, setting and objection options and data protection can be found on the following Google websites:
•    Data Privacy Statement: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de&gl=de
•    Google website statistics: https://services.google.com/sitestats/de.html

11.4    Google Remarketing
This website uses the remarketing function of Google. This function allows us to display interest-based advertisements to visitors of our website. This is done using cookies stored in your browser, via which your usage behavior when visiting different websites is recorded and evaluated by Google. This allows Google to determine your previous visit to our website. According to its own statements, Google does not combine the data collected as part of the remarketing with your personal data, which may be stored by Google. According to Google, pseudonymization is used in remarketing in particular.
In the event of the transmission of personal data to Google based in the USA, Google ensured this will only be done in the case that the prerequisites of Art. 44 et seq. of the GDPR have been fulfilled.
You can prevent participation in this tracking procedure in several ways:
•    by setting your browser software accordingly, in particular suppressing third-party cookies means that you will not receive any advertisements from third-party providers;
•    by installing the plug-in provided by Google under the following link: https://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin;
•    by deactivating the interest-based ads of the providers that are part of the self-regulation campaign "About Ads" via the link http://www.aboutads.info/choices. This setting will be deleted if you delete your cookies;
•    by permanent deactivation in your browsers Firefox, Internet Explorer or Google Chrome under the link http://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin,
•    by corresponding cookies setting. We would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this offer to their full extent.
Further information on data protection at Google can be found here: http://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy and https://services.google.com/sitestats/de.html

11.5    YouTube Videos
Our websites contain so-called embedding videos on YouTube. However, these only enable a connection to YouTube. YouTube is an offer from Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA or, if the service is provided in the European Economic Area and Switzerland, by Google Ireland Limited, based in Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, (hereinafter referred to as "Google").
As far as data is processed in the USA, Google ensured this will only be done in the case that the prerequisites of Art. 44 et seq. of the GDPR have been fulfilled.
By integrating YouTube, we pursue the purpose of being able to present various videos on our website so that you can watch them directly on our website.
The legal basis for the processing of personal data described here is point (f) of Article 6(1) of the GDPR. Our legitimate interest required for this lies in the great benefit that YouTube offers. By integrating external videos, we relieve our servers and can use the corresponding resources elsewhere. This can include Increase the stability of our servers. YouTube and Google also have a legitimate interest in the (personal) data collected in order to improve their own services.
If a corresponding consent to the setting or storage of cookies has been requested and granted, the processing takes place exclusively the basis of point (a) of Article 6(1) of the GDPR. You can revoke your consent at any time with future effect by clicking on cookie settings.
You can find more information in the data protection information from YouTube or Google, which you can access here: www.google.com/policies/privacy/
Information on Google's privacy settings can be found at https://privacy.google.com/take-control.html?categories_activeEl=sign-in

11.6 Amazon
On our website, you have the opportunity to purchase our products via a link to Amazon. In order to provide this service, we use the Amazon partner programme ("Amazon Partner Network") offered by Amazon.com, Inc.
The Amazon Partner Network is an affiliate marketing programme which is offered by Amazon. The links that you will find on our website to our products on the Amazon sales platform allow us to earn an intermediary fee which we receive if you click on one of the partner links and purchase the product in question on Amazon.
If you make use of the links to our offers on Amazon, your personal data may be transmitted to Amazon through the Amazon partner programme and processed by them.
With regard to the use of the Amazon sales programme, Amazon distinguishes between three categories of information.
Firstly, the information that you actively supply to the company – for example, your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, and information on your location and your payment.
The second category is "automatic information".
This is mainly generated through the use of cookies and includes information on your user behaviour and IP address and information relating to your device, such as the operating system used, the browser used and the location of the device.
In this context, Amazon also uses cookies to store the so-called URL clickstream, meaning the sequence of hyperlinks that a user follows to arrive at the Amazon online offering, as well as the origin of an order, thereby enabling the Amazon Partner Network to function.
The use of cookies by Amazon also makes it possible for Amazon to assign the collected data to your Amazon account, if you visit our website while you are still logged into your Amazon account.
Amazon calls the third category "information from other sources". This includes, for example, the updating of information on delivery addresses from the relevant parcel delivery firms and transport companies.
For further information on the personal data that is collected relating to your person, in particular the precise purpose and scope of the data collected, please go to
https://www.amazon.de/gp/help/customer/display.html?ie=UTF8&nodeId=201909010&ref_=footer_privacy
The controller for the processing of personal data are Amazon EU S.à r.l., Amazon Media EU S.à r.l., Amazon Services Europe S.à r.l. and Amazon Europe Core S.à r.l., in each case based at 38 avenue John F. Kennedy, L-1855 Luxembourg.
A further controller is Amazon Digital Germany GmbH, Domagkstr. 28, 80807 Munich Germany. These companies are jointly referred to by Amazon as "Amazon Europe".
The processing of personal data in Germany is performed by a subsidiary of Amazon EU SARL: German Branch, Marcel-Breuer-Str. 12, 80807 Munich.

11.7 Commerce Connector
In the individual product descriptions on our website, we also offer the possibility of purchasing these products through various other distributors who stock our products.
We use the services of Commerce Connector GmbH to list the various different distributors.
When you click on a link to one of the listed distributors, your personal data will be forwarded to Commerce Connector GmbH.
The processing of your personal data is performed by Commerce Connector GmbH on our behalf on the basis of Art. 28 of the GDPR.
If, in the course of this processing of data on our behalf, it is necessary for personal data to be transmitted to a third party outside of the European Union or the European Economic Area, this will only be done in the case that the prerequisites of Art. 44 et seq. of the GDPR have been fulfilled.

12.    Social Media
Our website uses the following links and social media services:

12.1    Facebook
Our website contains links to the social network Facebook, 1601 Willow Rd, 94025 Menlo Park, USA or if the service is provided in the European Union (EU), Facebook Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland (“Facebook“). You can recognize the Facebook link by the button with the Facebook logo (small "f" in a round shape).
If you use the Facebook link, that means when you click on the button, information that you have accessed certain pages of our website will be forwarded to the Facebook servers. For Facebook users who are logged in at the same time, this means that the usage data is assigned to their respective personal account. If you click on the Facebook button, this information is transmitted from your browser directly to Facebook and stored there. Even if you are not a member of the social network mentioned, there is still the possibility that Facebook will determine and save your IP.
Facebook stores your IP address even if you are not a member of Facebook. However, only an anonymized IP address should be saved for European users.
The information generated by Facebook is usually transferred to a Facebook server and stored there. This can also result in a transmission to the Facebook Inc. servers in the USA. As far as data is processed in the USA, Facebook ensured this will only be done in the case that the prerequisites of Art. 44 et seq. of the GDPR have been fulfilled.
We use the Facebook links based on our legitimate interests in accordance with point (f) of Article 6(1) of the GDPR. Here, these are the analysis, optimization and economic operation of our online offer.
If a corresponding consent to the setting or storage of cookies has been requested and granted, the processing takes place on the basis of point (a) of Article 6(1) of the GDPR. You can revoke your consent at any time with future effect by clicking on the following link. Cookie Settings
For further information, in particular the exact purpose and scope of the data collection, please visit https://de-de.facebook.com/policy.php.
You can find the privacy settings, including the possibility to object to the use of your data for advertising purposes, here.

12.2 Facebook Pixel
With your consent, we use the so-called "Facebook Pixel" on our website. This is an offering provided by the social media platform Facebook and is operated by Facebook Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA or, in the case that you are based in the EU, by Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Facebook").
With the help of Facebook Pixel, it is possible for Facebook to identify the visitors to our website as a target group for the presentation of ads (so-called "Facebook ads"). In accordance with this, our aim in using Facebook Pixel is to only show the Facebook ads that we use to those Facebook users who have shown an interest in our online offering or who display certain characteristics (e.g. interest in certain topics or products, determined from the websites they have visited), whose data we then forward to Facebook (so-called "custom audiences"). In this way, we hope to ensure that our Facebook ads correspond to the potential interest of the users and are not perceived as being annoying or bothersome. With the "conversion tool" provided by Facebook Pixel, we can also follow your actions after you have viewed or clicked on a Facebook ad. This allows us to monitor and analyse the effectiveness of our Facebook ads for statistical purposes and for the purpose of market research.
The Facebook Pixel allows your browser to automatically set up a direct connection to the Facebook server. This may also result in the transmission of data to the servers of Facebook Inc. in the USA. Facebook uses standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission and uses adequacy decisions with regard to certain countries as a basis to provide a legitimate case for the transmission of data from the EER to the USA or to other third countries.
We have no influence on the amount of data that is collected or on the further use of the data that Facebook collects through the use of this tool and are therefore providing you with information in accordance with the current level of our knowledge: the inclusion of the Facebook Pixel means that Facebook receives the information that you have clicked on one of our ads or have called up the relevant website from our online provision. Provided you are registered with one of Facebook's services, Facebook is able to assign the visit to your account. Facebook may use this information for the purposes of advertising, for market research and for the needs-based design of their Facebook pages. To do this, Facebook and their partners create user profiles, interest profiles and relationship profiles, e.g. to evaluate your use of our website in regard to the ads that are shown to you on Facebook, to inform other Facebook users about your activities on our website and to perform further services associated with the use of Facebook. This may also require cookies to be stored on your PC.
Provided you are registered with Facebook, you can adjust your settings to determine the type of ads that are shown to you on Facebook by going to the page set up for this purpose by Facebook and following the instructions with regard to the settings for use-based advertising: https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=ads. The settings take effect independently of the platform you are using, i.e. they will apply to all your devices, including both desktop computers and mobile devices.
Even if you are not registered with Facebook or have not logged in, it is possible that the provider can obtain details of your IP address and further identifying characteristics and can store this information.
Please refer to Facebook's Privacy Policy for full details of the purpose and scope of the data collected and the further processing and use of the data by Facebook, as well as details of your rights in this respect and the options to change your settings to protect your privacy. Further information can be found in Facebook's Privacy Policy: https:// facebook.com/privacy/explanation.
If you have given us your consent, this consent provides the legal basis for the use of Facebook Pixel (Art. 6, para. 1, sentence 1, point (a) of the GDPR).
You may revoke the consent you have given us at any time with effect for the future. If you would like to disable the tracking function of Facebook Pixel or would like to revoke your consent, please go to "Cookie Settings" within the service Facebook Pixel and click on "Refuse".

12.3    Instagram
Our website contains links to the social network “Instagram“. Instagram is a service of Facebook, 1601 Willow Rd, 94025 Menlo Park, USA or if the service is provided in the European Union (EU), Facebook Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland.
The links are marked with an Instagram logo, for example in the form of an "Instagram camera".
If you use the Instagram link, that means when you click on the button, information that you have accessed certain pages of our website will be forwarded to the Instagram/ Facebook servers. For Instagram users who are logged in at the same time, this means that the usage data is assigned to their respective personal account. If you click on the Instagram button, this information is transmitted from your browser directly to Instagram and stored there. Even if you are not a member of the social network mentioned, there is still the possibility that Instagram will determine and save your IP.
We use the Instagram links based on our legitimate interests in accordance with point (f) of Article 6(1) of the GDPR.
If you do not want Instagram to assign your visit to our website to your Instagram account, please log out of your Instagram account before visiting our website. You also have the option of blocking the Instagram plug-ins with add-ons for your browser.
For further information, in particular the exact purpose and scope of the data collection, please visit http://instagram.com/about/legal/privacy/ .

Our website uses functions of the social network linkedin.com, which is operated by LinkedIn Inc., 2029 Stierlin Court, Mountain View CA 94043 in the USA ("LinkedIn"). The LinkedIn (image) link is marked with a LinkedIn logo with the letters "in".
If you use the LinkedIn link, that means when you click on the button, information that you have accessed certain pages of our website will be forwarded to the LinkedIn servers. If you click on the LinkedIn button, this information is transmitted from your browser directly to LinkedIn and stored there. Even if you are not a member of the social network mentioned, there is still the possibility that LinkedIn will determine and save your IP.
If you do not agree that LinkedIn collects data about you via our website, we ask you to log out of LinkedIn before visiting our website. You also have the option of blocking the LinkedIn plugins with add-ons for your browser.
We use the LinkedIn links based on our legitimate interests in accordance with point (f) of Article 6(1) of the GDPR.

12.5 XING
Our website uses functions of the social network XING. The provider is XING AG, Dammtorstraße 29-32, 20354 Hamburg, Germany. The XING link is identified by an "X" based on the Xing logo.
If you use the XING link, that means when you click on the button, information that you have accessed certain pages of our website will be forwarded to the XING servers. For users of XING who are logged in at the same time, this means that the usage data is assigned to their respective personal account. If you click on the XING button, this information is transmitted from your browser directly to XING and stored there. Even if you are not a member of the social network mentioned, there is still the possibility that XING will determine and save your IP.
If you do not agree that XING collects data about you via our website, we ask you to log out of XING before visiting our website. You also have the option of blocking the XING plugins with add-ons for your browser.
We use the XING links based on our legitimate interests in accordance with point (f) of Article 6(1) of the GDPR.
To find out the purpose and scope of the processing of your data, as well as your rights and settings options to protect your privacy, please visit the XING data protection website at https://www.xing.com/privacy.

12.6    Youtube
Our website uses links to YouTube, which is provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA or, if the service is provided in the European Economic Area and in Switzerland, by Google Ireland Limited based in Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (hereinafter referred to as "Google").
If you activate the link by clicking on it, a connection to the YouTube servers will be established and the linked content will be displayed on the website by notifying your browser.
This tells the YouTube server which website you have visited. If you are logged in as a member of YouTube or Google, YouTube assigns this information to your personal user accounts on these platforms. When using these plugins e.g. by clicking the start buttons of a video or sending a comment, this information is assigned to your YouTube user account. You can prevent this by logging out before using the link.
When using YouTube, personal data may also be transmitted to the servers of Google LLC. in the USA. As far as data is processed in the USA, Google ensured this will only be done in the case that the prerequisites of Art. 44 et seq. of the GDPR have been fulfilled.
We use the YouTube links based on our legitimate interests in accordance with point (f) of Article 6(1) of the GDPR.

13. SIGEL Microsites
SIGEL microsites are websites that are operated by SIGEL. They are visually adapted to the SIGEL brand and can be accessed via a link on the SIGEL website. SIGEL's own user conditions and privacy policy apply to these microsites. SIGEL is responsible for the collection and processing of data in this context.

14. Seminars, Webinars, Exhibitions
On our website, you can register for events that we are offering and request further information. For this purpose, we will initially only need your contact details, in particular your email address. The details that you provide when making an enquiry about an event, when registering for an event or when requesting information will be used solely for the respective purpose. This especially includes the need to be able to get in touch with you.
We will delete this data once we have finished dealing with your enquiry. In some cases, there is a legal requirement for us to retain your data and not delete it. This may be the case, for example, if you make a booking for an event. In this case, we will store your data until the legal requirement for us to retain it has expired (e.g. legal requirements in compliance with the VAT Act or the German Commercial Code).
The legal basis for processing your data in this regard is Art. 6, para. 1, point (b) of the GDPR.
Insofar as the processing of personal data is necessary in order to fulfil a legal obligation on the part of our company, the legal basis for this is Art. 6, para. 1, sentence 1, point (c) of the GDPR.
If the data processing is required in order to uphold a justified interest on the part of our company, or that of a third party, and if the interests, basic rights and basic freedoms of the affected person do not outweigh the aforementioned interest, then the legal basis for the processing of this data is Art. 6, para. 1, sentence 1, point (f) of the GDPR.

15.    Transfer of data to service providers
We use various services from service companies for the operation, optimization of our website and our services and for contract execution. It is necessary that the data required for the fulfillment of tasks, in particular for central IT services or the hosting of our website as well as for the payment and delivery of products, is passed on to them.
When passing on your personal data, we always ensure the highest possible level of security. We assure you that these service providers have been carefully selected by us and contractually committed. Insofar as a company works for us by means of order processing (e.g. for hosting the website), we guarantee that adequate data protection measures and data security measures have been agreed with the companies commissioned by us.

16.    Subscribe to email newsletters
If you are offered the option of ordering a newsletter on our website and you register for such a newsletter, we process the data you have collected in this context as follows:

16.1    Sign up for newsletter and sending newsletters
The only mandatory information for sending the newsletter is your email address. We store your email address for the purpose of delivering the newsletter. If you have subscribed to a special newsletter for distributors, then – in addition to the mandatory details mentioned above – we will also store the name of your company.

The legal basis is your consent in accordance with point (a) of Article 6(1) of the GDPR.
We have logged your consent and are obliged to keep their content available at all times.
The provision of further, separately marked data and information is voluntary. They are used for the purpose of personally addressing and / or personalizing the email newsletter.

16.2     Double opt-in procedure
If you register for an e-mail newsletter, the personal data and information you provide and transmitted to us will be electronically recorded and stored by us. The purpose of this processing is initially to carry out the so-called double opt-in procedure, with which you can consent to the regular sending of the e-mail newsletter. This means that after we have sent your data and information, we will send you an email to the email address you have provided and we will ask you to confirm in this email that you would like the newsletter to be sent. If your registration is not confirmed, your data will be deleted.
After your confirmation, we save your IP address and the time of the confirmation. The purpose of this procedure is to prove your registration for the e-mail newsletter and, if necessary, to be able to identify and prevent possible misuse of your personal data. The legal basis is point (f) of Article 6(1) of the GDPR.

16.3     Newsletter-Tracking
We would like to draw your attention to the fact that we evaluate the behaviour of the readers of our email newsletter. In order to carry out this evaluation, we use the services of external service providers. The processing of personal data is done by external service providers on our behalf on the basis of Art.
With the data that we obtain in this way, we create a user profile in order to ensure that the newsletter is focused on your particular areas of interest. In doing so, we collect data on when you read the newsletter and which links you click on in the newsletter, and we use this to draw conclusions about your personal areas of interest.
We do not carry out any further user-related analysis.
The purpose of this data processing is to improve the quality of the newsletter and to optimise our offering. The legal basis for this is Art. 6, para. 1, sentence 1, point (f) of the GDPR.

16.4     Duration of storage
The data collected during registration (e-mail address and voluntary information) will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose for which it was collected. This is the case after canceling the newsletter or revoking your consent.
The data and information stored via the tracking function will be stored for as long as you have subscribed to the newsletter. After you unsubscribe or revoke your consent, we save your data purely statistically and anonymously.

16.5    Revocation
You can revoke your consent to the transmission of the newsletter at any time with future effect and thereby unsubscribe from the newsletter. You can declare your revocation by clicking on the link provided in each newsletter or by sending an email to datenschutz@sigel.de.
A revoked consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on the consent before its revocation.

17. Contact
When you contact us by e-mail or telephone, the data you provide to us will be saved. The processing of the data is therefore based on your consent (point (a) of Article 6(1) of the GDPR). For this context provided data will be erased as soon as the conversation with you has ended or the situation has been resolved.

17.1    Contact form
If you contact us through our contact form, we will request personal information. A valid email address an the name is required to respond to your inquiry. Additional personal information may be provided voluntarily.
Your information will be processed further by email.
For technical reasons, an encrypted transmission of your contact information cannot be guaranteed. Theoretically, there is a possibility that data could be taken into account by unauthorized persons or that it could also be falsified.
Your data will be saved on secure servers in Germany under adherence to data protection regulations.
Data for contacting us is processed on the basis of our your voluntary consent. By activating the "Send" button, you agree to our processing of your contact information for the above-stated purposes. If you do not agree, you must abort this process. No information will then be transmitted through our contact form and no data will be processed.
The processing of the data entered in the contact form is therefore based on your consent (point (a) of Article 6(1) of the GDPR). You may revoke your consent at any time with future effect. To do so, please write us at Mr Sebastian Heckl, Sigel GmbH, Bäumenheimer Straße 10, 86690 Mertingen, Germany, or email us at datenschutz@sigel.de.
We only use your data to the extent required for handling your inquiry and for further correspondence with you. We save data collected through your use of our contact form to process your inquiry and for subsequent questions and will delete your data in accordance with data protection regulations after completing your request, unless other legal storage obligations apply.
We use a ticket system to process your request.

17.2 Contact through Facebook Messenger
Within the context of establishing contact with customers, we also use Facebook Messenger as a means of communication. Facebook Messenger is provided by the social media platform Facebook, 1601 Willow Rd, 94025 Menlo Park, USA or, if the service is provided in the European Union (EU), by Facebook Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland.

You may revoke your consent to being sent the newsletter at any time with effect for the future, and thereby unsubscribe from the newsletter. You can revoke your consent by clicking on the link provided in every newsletter, or by sending an email to datenschutz@sigel.de.
You will find detailed information on the sending out of our newsletter in point 16 of this Privacy Policy.
